Daniel Rode is a French designer celebrated for his sculptural and innovative approach to furniture design. After beginning his career in fashion and luggage design in Asia, he transitioned into furniture design, establishing his own studio in Paris in 1992. In 1999, he moved to Italy to further immerse himself in the creative process.

Rode's designs are known for their harmonious blend of functionality and artistic expression, often characterized by smooth materials and free-flowing lines that give his creations a poetic tactile quality. His work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the "Chair of the Year" at the International Chair Show Promosedia for his "Okazu" chair in 2004.

He has collaborated with renowned international brands such as Roche Bobois, Cantori, and Tonin Casa, contributing iconic pieces like the Furtif desk and the Chabada chair. His designs continue to inspire and influence the world of contemporary furniture.

Built with a molded beech plywood frame and padded with high-density polyurethane foam (50 kg/m³) for lasting comfort and structure. Upholstered in OneOff performance fabric, designed to withstand everyday use while maintaining its refined look. Finished with tone-on-tone stitching, and available with optional contrasting piping for a distinctive touch.
