Founded by the visionary Piero Ambrogio Busnelli, B&B Italia proudly stands as a leading Italian company, crafting exceptional pieces in the global realm of designer furniture. It caters to both home (B&B Italia Home Division) and contract (B&B Italia Contract Division) markets.

Collaborating with renowned designers such as Mario Bellini (Camaleonda sofa), Antonio Citterio (Charles, Ray lines), Patricia Urquiola (Tufty Times sofa), Naoto Fukasawa (Papilio, Harbor line), Gaetano Pesce (Up series) and more, B&B Italia weaves a narrative of innovation and style.

This international philosophy resonates in its products and extensive distribution. With a sales network spanning 80 countries, featuring over 800 flagship stores and authorized points of sale, B&B Italia has meticulously established an exclusive network of highly professional outlets.

Embark on a journey of Italian design excellence with B&B Italia—where each piece tells a story of collaboration, sophistication, and timeless beauty, all made in Italy.

Designer

Antonio Citterio, born in 1950 in Meda (Milano), began his design journey after graduating from Politecnico di Milano in 1975. Establishing his design firm in 1972, he later collaborated with Terry Dwan from 1987 to 1996, creating architectural marvels across Europe and Japan.

Renowned as both an architect and designer, Citterio co-founded an architecture and interior design firm with Patricia Viel in 2000. Operating as "Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel," the firm engages in large-scale global projects. Citterio actively contributes to industrial design, notably collaborating with B&B Italia on iconic pieces like the Charles sofa.

Honored with the Compasso d'Oro-ADI twice (1987 and 1994), Citterio served as a professor of Architectural Design at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture from 2006 to 2016. In 2008, he received the title of "Royal Designer for Industry" from the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce of London. Additionally, Citterio serves as the art director of Maxalto, Arclinea, and Azucena.

How does our process work?

Is this piece authentic? See details

Yes. Every piece listed on our platform comes directly from the official inventory of leading designer brands or their vendors (such as Roche Bobois, Ligne Roset, Restoration Hardware, Bernhardt, Natuzzi, and others).
The furniture retains its original brand markings and documentation, so you can be confident you’re purchasing an authentic designer item.

Can I customize it? See details

Yes. You can customize the material and finishes of your piece, choosing from our exclusive line of performance fabrics and leathers. However, because these items come from official brand clearance stock, the dimensions and number of units available are limited.

For specific requests, please contact us directly or, if the piece you like isn’t currently available, leave your email on the product page and click “Notify me” (below the fabric customizer). We’ll update you as soon as new stock from this collection becomes available.

What condition is it in? See details

Although these pieces may have come from showroom displays, overstock, or returned inventory, each one is fully restored to like-new condition.
Our restoration process includes:

* Full hygiene check and cleaning (bugs and allergens ruled out).
* Replacement or adjustment of infills and suspensions.
* A hand-made new cover in the fabric or leather of your choice.

This ensures the final piece is delivered with the comfort, look, and feel of a brand-new sofa.

How long does delivery take? See details

From the moment you confirm your order and fabric selection, your piece is scheduled for restoration by our U.S. based artisans. Typical turnaround time is 30 days.
Delivery is coordinated with white-glove service within a 50-mile radius of New York City, ensuring careful handling and installation in your home.
For deliveries beyond this area, please contact us for tailored logistics options.
